No matter the level of depth you want to add to your map, the first step will always be to select a basic map to work with. Preset maps combine your selected location and activity to automatically suggest a few of the most useful overlays from our library of hundreds. Exploring Preset Map Features:
- Select the ‘Maps’ icon on the bottom of your screen.
2. Make sure you are in the Preset Maps section (it will say at the top). If not, then tap the ‘Preset’ button with the map icon.
NOTE: The map displayed at the top is the map currently being used. Tapping the heart icon will add that map to your favorites.
3. Tapping the gear icon will pull up a few basic settings you can choose from.
4. After tapping the ‘Options’ button, ‘Map Options’ section will pull up (left). There, you can select that map’s legend/s (there may be more than one), which will take you to a ‘Legends’ page (right).
4. The ‘Options’ page is based off of the location and activity you have chosen. To change these, simply select the green ‘change location’ or ‘change activities’.
5. Tapping the ‘change location’ button brings up the following menu. Here you can change what location you would like so that you can access the best possible map for that area.
6. Tapping the ‘change activities’ button brings up the following menu. Here you can select which activity/s you would like to do. This gives Topomaps+ the opportunity to provide you with the map that works best for you.
