With Topo Maps+ Pro you can print a map at a fixed scale. Printing at a fixed scale makes it easier to measure distances on your map. For example, you can choose the scale 1:24,000. With this scale, 1 inch on your printed map is 2000 feet on the ground.
To choose the scale you want to print at select “Map Options”, then “Map Scale”, and then pick your scale.
When you select a fixed scale the map will be automatically zoomed to this scale for the location on the map. You will not be able to zoom the map in or out when selecting an area to print.
The top of the printed map shows the scale for the map.
