Record Your Tracks

Topo Maps+ lets you record a trip while hiking.  Recording a trip will use the GPS to trace exactly where you went, give you an elevation profile for your hike, and give you the distance you traveled.  Recording a new trip is easy, just tap on Record in the toolbar and then Record New Track.

Once the trip starts recording you will see a the trip details and a pause button.

When you are wanting to stop recording, first tap on Pause and then tap on Stop.

If you want to see the full map you can tap on close in the split window and then later you can tap on Record to get back to your current trip.

When you are recording a track you can swipe to the right see the elevation profile for the trip.

You can swipe to the left to change the settings for the track.

When you want to view your record track later you can either tap on the track on the map or you can select My Data in the toolbar and then Tracks.
