When you turn on distance rings and you are viewing your current location you can see the distance and heading to the center of the rings.
To turn on distance rings select Data in the toolbar, then Settings, and then toggle on “Show Distance Rings”.
The distance from the center of the ring to your current location the heading are displayed just above the center of the rings.
